At Weruva, we do not believe in pet food descriptors such as "premium," "super premium" and "gourmet." According to the FDA, such terms "have no standard definition or regulatory meaning." Moreover, pet foods containing such labels "are not required to contain any different or higher quality ingredients, nor are they held up to any higher nutritional than are any other complete and balanced products."
Accordingly, as we best describe our pet food as "elegant and sumptuous," we chose a word that means just that -- Luxe -- as defined by the American Heritage Dictionary. So give Weruva a try! We think your cats will find it Super Luxe as well!
